A three-way ceiling speaker where the fitting gets as much engineering as the drivers, carrying premium-range technology into a fit-out designed to go quickly.
The patented Quik-Link connector is designed to speed up cable connection at the ceiling, so less time is spent on the ladder. Tri-Grip II is intended to hold the speaker firmly once fitted, so it stays put. The four-inch midrange covers 800 Hz to 3.5 kHz, with the one-inch tweeter and UD Waveguide II taking over above that, aiming for a cleaner handover between drivers. The HF and MF switches allow the top and middle to be trimmed once in place.
It suits a dedicated room or home theatre where the speakers should disappear into the ceiling. The CM-B pre-construction bracket points to new builds, and square or premium grilles give a choice of look.
