Our thoughts

A ceiling speaker built around a seven-inch mid-bass driver and a waveguide tweeter, with a connector designed to cut fitting time. It is made for installations where high-performance sound matters more than the speaker being seen.

The RST II mid-bass driver and C-CAM tweeter are split at 2.25 kHz, so the larger driver handles bass and mid-range while the tweeter covers the top end. The UD Waveguide II is intended to widen dispersion, so more of the room benefits from one pair. Quik-Link is a patented connector that speeds up cable termination on site, and Tri-Grip II is designed for a secure fit in the ceiling. The square or premium grille options let the finish suit the décor.

It suits home theatre and listening rooms where ceiling speakers are the chosen route and the owner wants full-range sound. Fitting it raises two decisions, amplifier matching and the CM-B pre-construction bracket, so call the team or come in to talk them through before the ceiling goes in.

It has a cut out dimension of 212 mm and revolutionary patented Quik-Link speaker cable connector and Tri-Grip II for quick, simple, reliable and strong installation and fitting.

This medium-sized Tier 2 in-ceiling loudspeaker is designed to deliver pristine, engaging acoustics where high-performance sound is a key requirement. It is a two-way model featuring an RST II mid-bass driver and C-CAM tweeter. The performance benefit of having both within a single design means greatly improved clarity, wider dispersion into the listening environment, and clear lifelike high-fidelity sound – of the quality you’d expect from any Monitor Audio passive box loudspeaker. It has a cut-out dimension of 212 mm and uses the patented Quik-Link speaker cable connector, which revolutionises the ease and speed of speaker installation. Tri-Grip has also been evolved for simple, reliable and strong fitment.

Optional square or premium grille can be used with this model.
