Compact Yet Powerful: The 803 D4 may be smaller than the 801 D4 or 802 D4, but it’s packed with innovative technology, including a unique three-box construction. The 130mm (5-in) midrange cone is isolated from bass cone impact, thanks to the advanced Turbine Head enclosure.
Reverse Wrap Cabinet: Our cabinets are crafted from continuous curved wood sections, positioning the drive units at the curvature's heart. This design provides a stiffer, more inert structure that minimizes mechanical resonances and ensures superior sound dispersion.
Enhanced Matrix™ Bracing: The Matrix bracing system uses interlocking panels to reinforce the cabinet walls in all directions, reducing resonance and delivering a more realistic soundstage. The 803 D4’s Matrix assembly is our finest, ensuring optimal scale, power, and clarity.
Aluminium Bass Pods: The 803 D4 features two Aerofoil™ bass cones mounted in solid aluminium pods, clamped to the stiffest part of its curved cabinet. These single-piece metal structures offer perfect mechanical support for the powerful bass cones.
