Diamond Dome Tweeter
One of Bowers & Wilkins' most significant accomplishments, the Diamond Dome tweeter, combines low mass, exceptional stiffness, and outstanding accuracy. Fifteen years after its introduction, this ultra-stiff tweeter remains unparalleled in delivering supreme sound quality.
Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top
The Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top housing features an elongated form with a longer tube-loading system and an all-new tweeter grille design, producing an even freer and open sound with high frequencies.
Upgraded Crossover
The 801 D4 Signature incorporates upgraded rear-mounted crossover designs on stiff aluminum spines. This setup isolates sensitive capacitors from unwanted air pressure effects within the enclosure and serves as an effective heatsink, ensuring optimal performance.
Aluminum Top-Plate
Each 800 Series Signature model boasts a significantly upgraded cabinet design with an all-new, optimized aluminum top section for greater stiffness. This design also provides a perfect mounting point for Leather by Connolly cabinet detailing, featuring luxurious full-grain blue leather for the Midnight Blue Metallic models and full-grain black leather for the California Burl Gloss models.
