The AW 300 M boasts Electrocompaniet's direct-coupled high open-loop bandwidth topology, now enhanced with high slew-rate and extended bandwidth amplifier stages. A groundbreaking output stage has been meticulously engineered to isolate input and driver stages from the load, resulting in an exceptionally robust output that remains impervious to connected loads. This innovation simplifies the feedback system and ensures remarkably low distortion.
Revamped Power Supply:
Our power supply has undergone significant upgrades, featuring a generous 110,000 uF supply filtering capacity. Mains power input is painstakingly filtered for both DC and RF noise. With an 800VA toroidal transformer and upgraded wire gauge transformer, magnetic and electrostatic shielding effectively minimizes interference.
The internal ground reference has been generously over-dimensioned to eliminate rectifying and output currents, delivering a pristine, noise-free output signal across all power levels. This translates into a stable soundstage with unparalleled background silence.
